We started Givens Transportation Solutions (GTS) to provide tailored freight solutions to shippers who want a personalized and service-oriented logistics partner. No matter how much the industry has evolved over the years, one thing remains steadfast — It still takes dedication, tenacity and personal effort to move freight efficiently. Chris began his career more than 20 years ago at C.H. Robinson, a third-party logistics company. After two years, he then branched out on his own a became an independent broker with SUNTECKtts. After working alongside Justin and Beau for many years, the three teamed up to form GTS, a brokerage arm of Givens Inc. System. Chris is married with four children. In is free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family on the lake or any multitude of activities.

Beau has been a part of the GTS team since day-one. For more than 20 years he has worked in the transportation industry in roles ranging from logistic coordination to management. He became part of the SUNTECKtts team in 2011 working alongside Chris and Justin. Originally from TX, an avid baseball player since age four, he received a full ride scholarship to the University of South Carolina at Aiken and moved to South Carolina. He spends his free time golfing, boating, and hanging out with his two daughters, Madelyn (18) and Morgan (14).

Justin has been part of the Givens TS team since its inception in 2019. For more than 20 years, he has worked in the transportation brokerage industry in areas that include operations as well as sales. He is currently responsible for managing and assisting with day-to-day activities at GTS, including customer development, carrier development and AP. He met Chris while working for C.H. Robinson and the two became an agent owner together at SUNTECKtts. There, they forged a strong friendship that eventually turned into a trusted business partnership. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing/watching football and basketball with his son and coaching his daughter’s soccer team.

    Tripled OuR Staff

    What started as a three-person brokerage operation has expended into a team of 20+ people.

    Reached $38M in Revenue

    Within three years, the brokerage division realized revenue growth of 330%.

  • 2019

    BROKERAGE DIVISION CREATED

    What started out as a trucking and warehousing company in 1958 had branched out into an exclusive brokerage division based in Ft. Mill, SC.

  • 1994

    GIVENS LOGISTICS FOUNDED

    This freight division was started to give support to the Transportation division of the company by adding additional capacity.

  • 1971

    FIRST WAREHOUSE

    Build the company’s first 150K sq. ft. warehouse. Today, we have nine warehouses, totaling 2.1MM sq. ft.

  • 1958

    PARTNERSHIP WITH HONDA

    After becoming the first Honda Motorcycle dealer on the East Coast, Givens began a partnership with Soichiro to store and transport motorcycles to other dealers. This was the start of the Givens logistics business.

  • 1957

    GIVENS MOTORCYCLE COMPANY FOUNDED

    Founded in Norfolk, VA, the company started as a bicycle dealership. After WW11, it expanded into motorcycles and warehousing, eventually becoming the largest warehousing company in the region.
